About Our Speakers
Manny Villalobos, Director of Utility Conservation at Katy ISD
Manny Villalobos started his career at Spring Branch ISD and served as their Energy Manger for 16 years. Currently, Manny is the Director of Utility Conservation at Katy ISD in 2017. Overall, Manny has over 20 years of Energy Management in public K-12 schools. Mr. Villalobos is accredited as an official Texas Energy Manager (ATEM) through Texas Energy Manager Association (TEMA), where he has served eight years on the local and state Board.
David Kornegay, Community Director, Dude Solutions
Since 1998, David has worked predominantly in the operations management industry. Affectionately known as “DK”, “The Mayor”, or “The Walking Library”, his current role is a Subject Matter Expert. He specializes in topics revolving around facility management, process efficiency and operations data. It is DK’s mission to understand and support Dude Solutions’ industries by accelerating their professional development, addressing their professional pains, and to provide fun and inspiring content.
